SOAPSonar Platinum Edition
Features of SOAPSonar Platinum Edition
SOAPSonar Platinum edition was built from the ground-up as a comprehensive testing solution with features that can be utilized throughout all phases of the service development lifecycle. SOAPSonar is easy to deploy and requires no knowledge of WSDL, SOAP, XML, or REST to be effective at configuration and testing. Services can be tested within minutes, and more complex testing scenarios can be built with complex security, identity, automation, and performance features.
Platinum Edition provides the complete set of features available with SOAPSonar. This edition provides all features of standard edition and automation edition with additional features to enable performance testing, ESB queue testing for IBM MQ, Tibco EMS, Weblogic JMS, and native JMS.
Below are the details of the primary features of Platinum Edition..
Message Queues
Native IBM MQ, Tibco EMS, Weblogic JMS, and native JMS messaging formats. One-way, two-way, synchronous, and asynchronous configurations.
Load Modeling
Scenario based performance loading with behavior modeling and multiple simultaneous loading transactions.
Virtual Clients
Default of 50 virtual simultaneous client agents for higher burst and sustained loads. Unlimited addtional virtual client agent packs can be added.
Sementic Error Detection
Under load, transactions are analyzed for error conditions based on semantic analysis of business logic. Request and response are preseved for post test analysis.
Data Source Automation
Drive test inputs and response analysis using dynamic data from File, Excel, or Database tables. Virtual client datasource splitting and sychronized data tables.
Command-Line Interface
Run tests in any mode directly from the command-line. Includes dynamic test suite flags, junit integration, and selective test group activation.
Behavior Variance
Baseline Service behavior with XDIff XML diff technology to automatically detect behavior variances and regression.
Variable Tasks
Create identity, security, or other extensibility tasks which leverage external data to inject and iterate scenarios.
WSDL Schema Parsing
Comprehensive WSDL and Schema parsing with automatic and graphical SOAP message generation.
Flexible Test Types
SOAP, XML, Batch, REST, and WS-Trust test types. All testing types are variable-enabled and can be linked together for complex business scenario testing
SOAP with Attachments
MIME, DIME, and MTOM attachment support with available large-file steaming module for testing files up to 2GB in size.
Security Policies
SSL, WS-Signature, WS-Encryption, WS-Decryption with native PKI for direct access to keys from Windows, Java, and File keystores and dynamic SmartCards.
Identity Tokens
Protocol identity generation for Basic Auth, SSL X509 Auth, and NTLM. Message based identity generation for WS-Security Username, SAML, X509, and Kerberos Identity Tokens
Success Criteria Rules
Automation rules for assessing the pass/fail characteristics of each transaction. Includes database and environment validation.
Concurrent Virtual Clients
Independent loading agents aggregate statistics for througput, latency, and TPS. Ramp-up, ramp-down, and weighted scenarios.
SLA Throttling
Define throughput metrics for all virtual clients to adhere to targeted transaction rates.
Vulnerability Analysis
Patented dynamic XSD mutation security testing with automatic boundary condition testing. Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation extensible rule framework.
WSDL Versioning
WSDL Versioning with Automatic Change Detection and Schema Merging. Preserves test configuration and allows synchronizing tests with service version releases.
Reporting
Functional, Performance, Compliance, and Vulnerability reports. Export formats XML, DOC, XLS, PDF, RTF, and RPT.
Test Case Variables
Variable substitution in message headers, message body, tasks, identity credentials. Runtime variable, global variables, automation variables..
Project Management
Import and export projects, save all data and settings in portable project files. Comment test cases and test suites for shared environment workflows.
